Very Thankful Weekend

We got to go to Indiana for Thanksgiving and visit the Wood's!!
Here is our trip in pictures. :)

Big sister graciously gave little bro a haircut :)
Hard at work preparing a most delicious meal
I kept kiddos busy while others were busy in the kitchen.
I got the fun part of the deal  :)
So ready for the turkey
Stuffed? Kiddos help you make room for dessert
wrestling buddies
Louis couldn't get enough attention,
he was so content hanging out with the cousins
Train time!

The high chair felt lonely while the Z-man was getting his tonsils out...
but Louis was happy to hold his spot till he returned.
Dan and I got to be chefs for all the meals on Friday.
Louis was pretty skeptical about how things were going to taste...

We all had such a fun time in Indiana that we didn't want to leave.
We had to say our goodbyes on Saturday though
then buckled up for the long trip home.
Louis was pretty sad to leave the cousins behind.
He slept a lot of the ride home though and we were glad.
On the ride to Indiana we passed bunches of blinking red eyes in the night.
Turns out there were a few miles of giant windmills on the plain.
It reminded us a little of the drive home to Wyoming.
The little man got tired of riding in his chair...
We needed some extra wiggle time...
I didn't succeed in getting a good picture of our time in Chicago,
because we were trying to get un-lost.
I've never been in a city like it before.
I'm grateful we don't live there.
Richland Center is much easier to navigate.
